Lead Business Architect


Job Description


The role of Lead Business Architect will be strategic partner to our clients and our Technical and Design teams. By leading design discussion and directing team members such as QA, Senior Business Architects, and Business Architects this role will ensure that all functional and non-functional requirements are fully captured and presented in concise way for our development teams. This role will provide direction to other key roles on the Project team, as well as direct prioritization of User Stories. This role will serve in both a virtual and on-site capacity and will require strategic leadership to help within the project team to ensure the business and technical requirements meet and exceed the business objectives. We are seeking individuals who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships.

Skills Required


Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Technical discipline
  • 10 years of Healthcare experience preferred with one or more of the following operational functions:
  • Enrollment
  • Claims
  • Premium Billing
  • Care Management
  • Customer Service
  • Provider Network Management


Skills Required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with various delivery methodologies include Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, Waterfall etc.
  • Ability to create workflow and process mapping diagrams
  • Ability to balance multiple deliverables while assisting business architects in gathering business requirements
  • Experience writing User Stories to translate requirements and specifications for technical design teams
  • Strategic way of thinking, and approaches solutions in a pragmatic method
  • Technical design experience, including Data Mapping/Modeling as well as process and workflow diagraming
  • Experience with Database tools such as SQL server management studio
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Familiar with JIRA, Backlog, Rally or ALM
  • Impeccable documentation preparation and maintenance
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors
